1. Prep Your New Rubber
We ship our latex lightly powdered for storage and transit. For a glossy shine you'll need to remove this powder. Wash the garment well in water and hang, in darkness, to dry. Possibly more than once if there is still talc on the surface.
Any latex polish you add will now adhere to the latex surface better.

2. Polish your rubber
If you like a glossy shine, you can use a coat of latex polish and apply with a lint free cloth.
A range of polishes are available.

3. Gear up
We recommend silicone lubricant or Vivishine Dressing Aid to slide into your gear.
Spread liberally inside your garment before carefully dressing. Sharp nails & jewellery can easily snag and pierce latex so take care.
Slowly roll legs and sleeves over your arms gradually to reduce tension on the latex as you enter.

4. Wash & Store
Wash garments thoroughly after each wear using luke-warm water and a little mild detergent (soap or washing-up liquid).
Once clean, leave to dry away from direct heat and sunlight. Avoid using wire hangers.
When the rubber is dry the surface may be tacky and will cling to itself. For best protection, we suggest a light spread of silicone lube to prevent sticking and also keep your gear ready for dressing.
If you prefer to store dry, you can still prevent sticking by lightly coating the garment with talc or REGULATION Rubber Dusting Powder.

5. Important to remember
Well cared for latex can last years.
Keep your latex gear away from oil, grease and base metals which can stain or reduce the life of latex.
Contact with TPE based toys (e.g some cockrings or dildos) can also cause the latex surface bubble. Use garment bags if you keep gear near toys.
Most of all, enjoy your gear!
